50 days left to register for CRC

New figures published today (11 August 2010) by the Environment Agency show that over 1200 organisations have already registered for the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme. Between them these organisations have reported over half of the electricity consumption expected to be included within the scheme. The total number of participants registered for CRC rose from 1101 to 1229 over the last week. There is now every sign that there will be a late surge as nearly 4,000 organisations still have to sign up. Will the Environment Agency cope, or will it extend the deadline as with disaggregation?
